Belief in Reincarnation

Reincarnation is a belief that those who die are reborn into flesh again. It is believed that each life has a new personality but that some traits of each personality are taken to each new life. The word reincarnation means "to be made flesh again". There are some variations of what reincarnation entails. Some believe that you remain a human being in each life while others believe you can be reincarnated into anything, being a human being or an animal.

Indian religions are known most to believe in reincarnation such as Hinduism. However, there are also other religions that believe in reincarnation to be true. Some of these other religions include New Age, Esoteric Christianity, and Kabbalah.

During the past few decades the belief in reincarnation has reached those who live in the West. Some films and books have been made and written regarding reincarnation as being true also. There are still skeptics out there who say that they are not sure if reincarnation is true or not and believe that more research needs to be done before it can be said that it is real.

Professor Ian Stevenson talked with children who say that they remember things from past lives and published the evidence he gathered together in journals and other media show casing what he believes to be true.

Whether you believe in reincarnation or not it is something to be considered and to look at any evidence that proves it either way.
